MRS. MATT PEUGH DEAD
  Mrs. Matt Peugh died at her home near 
Atwater Tuesday and was buried Wednesday,
the funeral exercises being conducted by Rev.
Mr. Kendrick, of Griffin.

  Mrs. Peugh was 86 years of age and a
member of the Atwater Baptist Church.
  The deceased leaves five children, her husband 
having preceded her to the grave. Her children as follows;
Messrs Anger and Jack Peugh, Mrs. Jim Gordy, of 
Meansville, Mrs. Charlie Moors, of AL., 
and Mrs. Georgianna Peugh.

  The relatives of the deceased have 
the sympathy of the people of the community in their sad loss.
