Phillips     
Mr. J.A.J. Phillips, age 62, died here at 11 o’clock
Sunday morning. He is survived by his widow; two
daughters, Mrs. F.M. Henry or Thomaston, and Mrs. W. W.
Stewart of Macon; one brother, Mr. Manning Phillips, of
Hawkinsville, and a nephew, Willie Coney of Douglas.

Funeral Services were conducted by the Rev. Mr. Anderson,
pastor of the Hawkinsville Baptist Church, at
Hawkinsville, Monday afternoon at 2o’clock and
interment was made in the Pipkin cemetery near there.

Mr. Phillips recently moved to Thomaston from Macon.
