James E. Presley, Jr., 62

Funeral services for Mr. James E. Presley, Jr., 62,
of 1143 Triune Mill Road, were held Friday, April
20, 1990 at 2:00 p.m. at Emory’s Chapel Baptist
Church.  Rev. James A. Coogler, Rev. Joe Allen, and
Rev. Clark Abbot officiating and interment in the
South View Cemetery.  Mr. Presley died Wednesday
night, April 18, 1990 at Upson Regional Medical
Center.

Mr. Presley was a native of Upson County.  He was
employed by the Upson County Road Department and was
a member of Emory’s Chapel Baptist Church. He is
survived by his wife, Mrs. Hazel C. Presley of
Thomaston, daughters:  Mrs. Bill ( Kathy) Morgan and
Mrs. Kennedy ( Julie) Owen, both of Thomaston, son
Mr. James E. Presley 111, of Thomaston, step-sons:
Mr. Timothy W. Chagnon, of Barnesville, Mr. James D.
Chagnon of Zebulon, and Mr. Richard E. Chagnon of
Thomaston, sisters: Mrs. Ross (Lillian) McDonald,
Mrs. Forrest ( Mary) Corley, Mrs. Shelly (Frances)
James, and Mrs. Walter (Shirley) Daniel, all of
Thomaston. Pasley-Fletcher Funeral Home was in
charge of arrangements.
