Mr. Ruffin passed away Monday, March 16, at his daughter's residence. Mr. Ruffin was a native of Upson County. He was born August 15, 1930, to the late Walter Edward and Willie Pauline Kersey Ruffin. He served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War. Mr. Ruffin was retired from Thomaston Mills where he worked for many years as a technician in the twister room. He is survived by three daughters, Connie Byrd (Mitch Peterman), Sandra Robinson, and Brenda (Jim) Walker, all of Thomaston; a granddaughter, Kaitlin Huffman, of Thomaston; a sister, Pauline McHargue, of The Rock, Ga.; and a nephew, Roy (Elaine) McHargue, all of the The Rock,Ga. Coggins Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
