RUFFIN - Funeral services for Mrs. Mamie Ruffin, 87, were held Saturday, February 7,1976 at the Chapel of Pasley-Fletcher Funeral Home with Elder Charlie McClendon and Rev. Don Hammons officiating. Burial was in Glenwood Cemetery. Mrs. Ruffin died Friday, February 6,1976 at the Upson County Hospital. She was a member of Grace Primitive Baptist Church and resided at 119 Herbert Street. The native Upsonian is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Wilson Harris, Thomaston; Mrs. Frank DeLoach, Macon; three sons, Tommy Ruffin, Bakie Ruffin and Marvin Ruffin all of Thomaston; one sister, Mrs. Joel Montgomery, Thomaston; seven grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren also survive.
