H. Rogers Dies The people of Thomaston are sympathizing with Mr. E. F. Rogers in the death is his Brother, Mr. H. H. Rogers, which occurred recently in Lancaster Texas. The account of his death as is appears in the Texas paper as follows: H. H. Rogers, 81 years of age, died at his home on the West Pike Wed. at his home at 7:27. His death was caused by the infirmities of old age. Mr. Rogers was one of the true pioneers of this Country, having lived near Lancaster for 45 years. He was a member of the Lancaster Baptist Church. He was known all these years as a successful Farmer, having reared a large family of 8 boys & girls. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Fannie Rogers and by his children, Charlie, John, Milt, Mrs. E. S. Demino, Mrs. Hattie Roberts, Walter, J. O., Mrs. Estelle Murray. Funeral services were held in the Lancaster Bapt. Church Thurs. afternoon at 2 P.M. The services conducted by Rev. E. F. Cole. Interment was in Edgewood Cemetery.
