RUSSEL
Mrs. Martha Russell died in East Thomaston last Friday
after an illness of two weeks. She was buried Saturday
at Jones Chapel, Rev. Mr. Horne officiating, with
Stephens Undertaking Co. in charge of arrangements.  

She is survived by three sons, T. B. Russel of Greenville,
J. A. Russell and L.B. Russell of Woodbury, and three
daughters, Mrs. Dora Wright of Woodbury, Mrs. C.B. Owsley
of Thomaston and Mrs. M. H. Brown of Texas.

NOTES:
Martha Russell. She was my great grandmother. She was
born Martha A. Crawford on 31 March 1835 to Uriah and
Caroline Hunter Crawford. She married David Robinson
Russell on 2 August 1864 in Talbot Co., GA, and she
died 12 Sept. 1924. She is buried at Jones
Chapel/Old Mt. Pleasant, near Woodbury.
