                            Jesse V. Starley
 THOMASTON -- Jesse V. Starley, age 68 of 202 Diane Drive, Thomaston, was dead 
on arrival at the Emergency Room at the Upson County Hospital Tuesday 
afternoon, January 15. Funeral services will be held from the Clark's Chapel 
Baptist Church on Thursday, January 17. Interment will be in Southview 
Cemetery. Pasley-Fletcher Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
 Mr. Starley was a native of Laurens County, Ga. and a rsident of Upson County 
for the last 37 years. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Mattie Bracewell 
Starley of Thomaston; one daughter, Mrs. Jeanelle S. Harris of Thomaston; two 
sons, J. V. Starley, US Navy in Norfolk, Va. and Edwin R. Starley, Thomaston; 
five brothers, Harold and Marvin Starley, Macon, Alva and Prentice Starley, 
Dublin, and B. F. Starley, Leesburg, Va.; one sister, Mrs. Marie Porter, 
Trinty, Ala.; and four grandchildren.

Additional Comments:
Jesse was born 17 Aug 1912 to Mark M. Starely and Anne E. David Starely who are 
both buried in Buckhorn Methodist Church in Laurens County, Ga.
