Dean Hemphill officiating. Burial followed in Emory's Chapel Church Cemetery. Pasley- Fletcher in charge of arrangements. Mr. Savage was a native of Cookville, Tenn. but had lived in Upson County Most of his Life. He was a retired Carpenter. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Daisy Bell Savage of Thomaston; two daughters, Mrs. Nell K. Jordan and Mrs. Violet Singletary, both of Thomaston; a sister, Mrs. Christine Thompson of Phenix City, Ala.; ten grandchidren and 14 great grandchildren also survive. Background info- The father of Bill was Calvin Haywood Jackson in TN. He was not a Savage, but a Jackson. He had a twin Brother Willis who died in Baldwin Co. Ga. Also. After his Mother, Maggie Kirby Jackson married John Savage, he assumed that name & his children & on down the line. Lisagraham32@aol.com
