Final Rites for Mrs. Maggie Savage  

Funeral services for Mrs. Maggie Savage, 86, were held
Thursday afternoon at 3 o'clock from Emory's chapel
Baptist church with Rev. Herbert D. Morgan and Rev. Joel
Montgomery officiating. Burial was in Glenwood Cemetery
with Trice Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Savage died Tuesday at the Upson County Hospital
following an extended Illness. She resided on Route 2 in
the Ben Hill Community. Mrs. Savage, a retired textile
employee, was a member of Emory's Chapel Baptist Baptist
Church for the past 25 years. She resided in Thomaston
for the past 50 years.

Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Christine Thompson
of Columbus, Ga; three sons; Bill Savage, Johnnie
Garrett, both of Thomaston; Willis Garrett, of Macon; one
Brother, John Kirby, Chattanooga, Tenn.; 18 grandchildren
and 17 great grandchildren also survive.
