Martha Manuel
Mrs. Martha Manuel Searcy of Thomaston died Sunday,
July 6, 1997.

Funeral arrangements will be announced at a later
date by Bentley's and Sons Funeral Home.

Local survivors include her husband, Emory Searcy of
Thomaston, one son, Arthur Joe Manuel (Barbara) of
Thomaston, three grandchildren, Ervin Manuel
(Tracey) of Forsyth, Glenda Evans (Mark) and Anthony
Manuel (Cynthia), both of Thomaston; one sister,
Mary Ivey (Bonice) of Thomaston; one brother,
Augusta Forest Manuel, Jr., of Macon; 15 great-
grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Christine Pearson and
Mattie Pearl Mims, both of Thomaston; devoted niece
and nephews, Mary Ester Pearson and Ralph Pearson,
both of Thomaston, and Jessie Cleve Pearson of
Atlanta.
