Pioneer Citizen passed away   

Mr. Job Stewart, age 81 passed away at his residence on
Lee St. Saturday morning, August 13th, 1932 ,following
several weeks illness.

Mr. Stewart was a pioneer citizen of Upson Co., Son of
the late Allen and Tabitha Mackey Stewart, both natives
of Upson County.

He leaves his WIDOW Who was Miss EMMA JAMES before there
marriage, three daughters, Mrs. ADA ALLEN of Atlanta,
Mrs. Essie Dobbs of Columbia South Carolina, Mrs. Zalia
Williams of Norfolk, Va., three sons, E.O Stewart of
Birmingham, U.F. and T. J. Stewart of Atlanta, ONE
sister, Mrs. E.Y. Birdsong of Thomaston, two brothers,
J.H. Stewart of Yatesville and Thomas Stewart of Roberta
Ga., and two grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

The funeral was held Sunday afternoon at Grace Church
with Elder S. H. Whatley Officiating. Interment was held
in Glenwood Cemetery.

Mr. Stewart was an upright, honorable citizen, very quiet
and unassuming in his demeanor. He had a great many
friends in this County who are saddened by his death.

Note: Beside Essie Stewart D. Dodd is probably her first husband
W.M. Daniel. It notes he married Essie Stewart on 11/23/1899
3/16/1877- 10/13/1906, this indicates about a 7 year marriage &
she later remarried a Dodd, which may be Dobb. The middle initial
in Essie's name being D. makes me sure W.M. Daniel was probably
her first husband. He lies next to her PLUS their child.
