The Thomaston Times, Thomaston, GA, Thursday 15 February 1940, page 8, column 4
     Miss Juanita Turner, 14 years of age, died Tuesday afternoon, February 
13th, 1940, at a private hospital in Atlanta.
     She is survived by her mother, Mrs. Mable Turner, brother, Fred L. 
Turner, half-sisters, Mrs. Beulah Hudgins, and Mrs. Effie Goddard, Porterdale, 
Ga., half-brothers, Mr. Foster Turner, and Mr. Warner Turner, Griffin, Ga., 
and grand-mother, Mrs. Minnie Lawrence.
     Funeral services were held Thursday morning, February 15th, 1940, at 10 
o'clock at East Thomaston Baptist Church.  Rev. Ray officiated.  Interment was 
in Mount Olive Cemetery.
