Funeral services for Mr. Robert Jefferson
"Bobby" Thompson, 76, of Waymanville Road were held Friday, Feb. 25, 2000 at 4 p.m. at Hew Harmony Baptist Church with the Rev. Darnell Teal and Rev. Junior Thompson officiating. Burial followed in Upson Memorial Gardens.

Mr. Thompson died Wed., Feb. 23, 2000 at the Atlanta Medical Center.

Coggins Funeral Home was in charge of Arrangements.

  Mr. Thompson was a life long resident of Upson County. 
Survivors include his wife, Carolyn Thompson of Thomaston;
a son, Mr. Jeffrey Thompson of Thomaston, a daughter, Mrs. Janice Adams of Thomaston. Five Brothers; Mr. Charles, Jimmy and Moses  Thompson of Barnesville, Mr. Hugh Thompson of Thomaston and Rev. Junior Thompson of Phenix City, AL. Five sisters, Mrs. Martha Gibson of Thomaston, Mrs. Sara Hearn and Mrs. Linda Walker, Mrs. Joyce Waller, all of Barnesville and Mrs. Betty Wilson of Wilner, two grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
