IN SWEET REMEMBRANCE.

The announcement of the untimely death of our dear friend
and neighbor,  Mrs. Mattie Thompson, on the morning of
June 27 was received with the deepest regret by many of
her friends in our Community.

A noble life has ended; a happy home is dissolved; a
broken hearted husband weeps and motherless children
mourn. Her going away has caused such deep sorrow in our
hearts. 

Mrs. Thompson was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ben
Watson. She was born April 13, 1872 married Mr. J. R.
Thompson, April 28, 1889, died June 27.

She leaves a devoted husband, eight children, a loving
sister and two kind brothers, together with a host of
relatives and friends who mourn her sad death.
