She was born and raised in Fayetteville, Ga. But for the past five years she had made her home in Thomaston. She was the wife of Mr. J. B. Turner Jr., of Kenwood, Ga. who preceded her to the grave on Oct. 5, 1918. She never recovered from the grief of this sad parting and expressed a wish to reunite with him in Heaven, telling friends and loved ones that her time was near and that J. B. would soon come for her. She was a true Christian having united with the Missionary Baptist Church, faithfully serving it to the end. Her funeral and burial took place at Fayetteville where her body was tenderly laid to rest beside her husband. Besides her mother, three sisters and two brothers, she leaves a host of friends to mourn her death. A Friend.
