Waldrop, age 64 passed away at his residence in Manchester Tuesday, April 18. Mr. Waldrop was a resident of East Thomaston for many years where most of his family now live. The remains was brought to Thomaston for funeral and interment Wednesday morning, which was held at Shiloh church with Rev. C. O. English officiating. He leaves his widow, six daughters, Mrs. Kate Mote of Tennille, Ga., Mrs. Lena Bell Wright of South Georgia, Mrs. Jimmie Lou Harrell, Mrs. Pearlie Bonds and Miss Ruby Waldrop of Manchester and Mrs. Maggie Blackman of Thomaston; four sisters, Mrs. John Long, Mrs. J. K. Trice, Mrs. Jackson Flournoy and Mrs. Mary Lou Brown all of Thomaston. other- Jim W. Waldrop 1871-1933 Sister- Emma Waldrop Long 1883-1939 married John Long- 1878- 1937
