James D. Weaver Dies After Lingering Illness

The many friends of James D. Weaver will learn with
regret of his death which occurred Tuesday, August 28,
1933, after an illness of over two years. He was married
to Miss Comer Carver of Dawson. He was joint owner and
manager for several years in the Dawson Telephone Co.

He is survived by his widow; two sons, J. Calvin Weaver
and Jimmie, Jr., his Mother, Mrs. Martha F. Weaver; two
brothers, G. A. Weaver of Thomaston and Dr. J. Calvin
Weaver, of Atlanta; two sisters, Mrs. M.A. Porter of
Brooklyn N.Y. and Mrs. W. A. Sutton of Atlanta, Ga.

Funeral and interment services were held in Dawson
Wednesday.
