These are the children of Wyatt Beeland Blassingame and Susan Adams of Green
County, GA. It is amazing that he would allow all five of his children to enlist
in the CSA at the same time, but smart enough to let them join two different
companies, the 32nd Georgia Infantry, Co. I and the 45th Volunteer Battalion, Co.
B.

They are lined up in the order of their birth:
Front-l/r Benjamin Franklin born 1830 married Chloe Hayes; James P. born 1833;
David A. born 1834; John William born 1834 married Amanda Jane Jackson; and
Thomas Jefferson was born in 1840 who married Cecilia Ann Adams.
back-l/r Nancy Elizabeth born 1836. Married William Childs; Elizabeth, born 1846
married A.S. Waller; and Mary born 1849, never married.  (there was a fourth
daughter, Susan that died at an early age of 16 years.)


p.s. Wyatt spelled his name Blassingame as his ancestors, but John William
Blasingame spelled his with one 's'.
