This photo of my grandmother, Essie Mae [Maze] Cochran (12/25/1909-12/17/1985) 
was taken when she was a young woman and has always reminded me of the painting 
by Andrew Wyeth, "Christina's World."  She was the first wife of Ollie Howard 
Cochran, married 8/28/1926, and was mother of two daughters.
