Florence Opal Meeks Day was born in Upson County on May 28, 1913 to George 
William and Delia Page Meeks. She married William Everett Day Feb. 23, 1932 and 
was the mother of four sons and one daughter.
She died on October 8, 1996 and is buried in Southview Cemetery. She shares a 
double headstone with her husband.
