This is Essie Bryan and her first cousin, Octavia Brown. Essie was born 1892 
and Octavia was near her age-maybe a year or two younger.  Octavia was the 
daughter of Alfred H. Brown 1855-1932 and Mattie Lavonia Ferguson who 
married 12 Dec 1880 in Upson Co., GA.  Mattie died before the 1930 census 
where Alfred was living with a daughter in Lowndes Co., GA.  I'm still 
trying to trace this side of the family.  All I know about Octavia is that 
she married a Mr. Mintor/Mentor.
