Second Overview of the Lyon Family Cemetery
From Yatesville at Junction of 74 hwy. and Barnesville Rd. go out 2- 4/10 
mile on right side of Road , May 1968
This one has not been updated in 40 years .

Additional Comments:
Here are a few photos of the Lyon Family Cemetery right outside of Yatesville, 
Georgia. There are a total of 6 headstones in the cemetery.  Three of the 
headstones are small and appear to be unmarked.
This was not my family.  From what I have heard, there was a horse/buggy 
station & a hospital on the same property.  The stories I've encountered say 
that Sherman marched through here and burned everything except for one house 
and only because it had an American flag flying and was used as a hospital.
