Dorsey was the son of Mitchell E. and Florence Opal Meeks Day. He died 
instantly when he was hit in a head-on automobile accident in the early hours 
of June 27, 1965. He was a barber at Prescott's Barber Shop in Griffin, GA and 
was on his way home.
Survived by his Mother, one sister and three brothers.
