Byron Photo can be seen at: http://www.usgwarchives.net/ga/upson/photos/tombstones/waymanville/byron12209ph.jpg Image file size: 452.9 Kb Asa Washburn Byron was born March 25, 1809 in East Bridgewater, Plymouth County, MA. He was the son of Branch and Anna Washburn BYRUM. In the 1860 Thomaston census he is living with Gideon Raines and his family, by 1870 he was living with Samuel J. and Mary Jane Parker DeLoach along with their baby, Thomas. While I do not have proof, I believe the child's headstone is that of Thomas DeLoach, born 1869, died 1870. There is a discrepancy in Mr. Byron's death date, the archives list February 14, but the date of the 1870 census was July 21.
