Sad death 
Last Thursday evening about 2 o'clock the eight month old son of Mr. and Mrs. 
R. B. Reeves crawled to the hearth upon which was a kettle of boiling water and 
in some way the kettle was upset upon him. The little fellow was so badly 
burned that he only lived a few hours. The sorrowing parents have our deepest 
sympathy.
