Oct. 11, 1833:  William H. Hicks to Mary Ann Elliott
Oct. 11, 1833: James M. Hicks to Lucinda Elliott
July 4, 1843:  Andrew J. Barker to Arah C. Hicks
Oct. 19, 1845: Charles W. Hicks to Ann Elizabeth Martin
License Nov. 15, 1856:  George M. Hicks to Elizabeth Wiseman
June 18, 1857: Dana L. Brown to Mary E. Hicks
Feb. 21, 1869: Gillas Hicks to Sarah Parten
License July 20, 1972:  Andrew J. Hicks to Mary F. Dawson
Dec. 16, 1875: Hayden Hicks to Frances Arrington
Sept. 26, 1878: Jacob Columbus Hicks to Mattie Ann Garrett-
on This one, I saw where it was recorded as
license issued and did not show a date when the marriage
took place.  This seems to have happened fairly often for
different reasons I’m guessing.  Also it shows her name
as Mollie Ann Garrett instead of Mattie Ann Garrett. You
know, though, it did show the J. P.’s name of B. D.
Hardaway; so, there is the possibility that he married
them when they got the license.  Just some thoughts.
