Local News

The friends of Mr. Walter Kennedy of LaGrange and Miss Annie May Allen of this 
city were very much surprised last Sunday when it became known that they had 
married during the day at the residence of Dr. Mixon, the ceremony being 
performed by Dr. Mixon.  The marriage of these well-known young people was not 
entirely unexpected but it came as a surprise to all. – Thomaston Times
