Adams, Thomaston, Ga. Filed in Office January 4th 1936 J. M. Middlebrooks- Ordinary Entered on Will Book C page 264 This Day of January 1936 Georgia, Upson County I, Mrs. Fannie C. Adams, of Said State and County, being of sound and disposing mind and memory, do make this my last Will & testament, hereby revoking and annulling all others by me heretofore made. Item1. I desire and direct that my body be buried in a decent & Christian like manner, suitable to my circumstances and condition in life. Item 2. I desire and direct that all my just debts be paid without unnecessary delay, by my Executor hereinafter named and appointed. Item 3. I give and bequeath to my daughter, FRANCES O'STEEN, one feather bed & mattress. I give and bequeath to my son, CURTIS ADAMS, one mattress and two pairs of small pillows and cases. I give and bequeath to my son FELTON ADAMS, one feather bed and one pair of pillows with cases to fit; I want my THREE children above named to divide the balance of my bed-clothes, furniture and other clothes and household effects as near equally as possible; and in the matter of the division of these personal belongings, to be even-tempered and as considerate, to one of the other, as possible, and at all times, after my death and during the period of their lives, to one one another as brothers and sisters should. Item 4. I direct that my executor hereinafter named sell, at the earliest practical date after my death, to the highest bidders, for cash, at private or public sale, all of my property. Except that hereinbefore bequeathed. And, after my debts are paid by my executor, I direct that he pay the moneys of my estate, coming into his hands by virtue of the aforesaid sales, or otherwise, to my 3 children, CURTIS ADAMS, FELTON ADAMS and FRANCES O'STEEN. Item 5. As I have advanced, during my lifetime, more moneys and things of value to FELTON ADAMS and to FRANCES O'STEEN than I have to my other Child CURTIS ADAMS, $200. more than he pays to Felton Adams and to Frances O'Steen; ( that is Felton Adams and Francis O'Steen) are to be paid equal amounts, and Curtis Adams is to be paid $200 more than each of my other two children are to receive. Item 6. I hereby name and appoint J. M. Adams as Executor of this will, require that he make an inventory and appraisement, and require, him to give bond and make returns to the Court of Ordinary; and that he probate this will promptly after my death. This 22nd Day of October, 1929 Mrs. Fannie C. Adams (Seal) Signed, sealed, declared and published my Mrs. Fannie C. Adams as her last will and testament, in the presence of the undersigned as witnesses thereto, being called individually and by Mrs. Fannie C. Adams as witnesses to this Will, she first signs the same in our presence, and then we signing as witnesses in her presence and in the presence of each other.
