K. Adams Items 1-4, last page missing Georgia Upson Co. I, J. K. Adams, of said State & County, being of sound and disposing mind and memory, do make, declare and publish this instrument to be my last will & testament. Item #1. I desire and direct that my body be buried in a manner befitting my station in life and that all my just debts be paid out of the estate of my Executrix, hereinafter named, as early as practicable after my death. Item #2 I give, devise and bequeath to my daughters, Bessy M. Adams and Glen Adams Paxson, share and share alike, all my interest in the following described real estate located in the city of Thomaston, said State and County, to- wit:-A part of town lot #10 in said City of Thomaston. Item #3. I give, devise and bequeath to my said daughters, Bessy M. Adams and Glen Adams Paxson, share and share alike, all my property, real, personal or mixed wherever located, of which I die seized and possessed, except that the fund arising from policy in the Knights of Honor shall be divided between my said daughters, as follows- two thirds to the said Bessy M. Adams and the remaining one-third to the said Glen Adams Paxson. Item #4. I name and appoint as executrix of this will, my daughter, Bessy M. Adams, and Will and direct that no bond be .......(1) =========== State of Georgia, Upson County To the honorable Court of Ordinary of said County: The petition of MISS BESSY M. ADAMS respectfully shows: 1st that she IS resident and citizen of said State 2d. That J. K. Adams of Upson County departed this life in Wilcox County Ga. on the 15th day of August, A. D. 1910 after having made and duly executed his last Will and testament here to the Court shown. 3d. That your petitioner WAS nominated the executrix of said Will. Your petitioner produces said Will in Court, and Prays that the same may be proved and admitted to record in common form, and that letters testamentary issue to your petitoner....in terms of the law.
