I William Brinkley being of advanced age, but of a sound and disposing mind and memory, deem it just and right to make some disposition of the effects that a kind providence has blessed me with, do make this my last Will and Testament, hereby revoking all others made by me. Item 1 I will and desire that my body be buried in a christian like manner, I trust that my soul will return to God who gave it. Item 2 I desire that my just debts be paid without unnecessary delay. Item 3 I will and desire that my beloved wife Nancy A. Brinkley, with whom I have lived for the last twenty years in quietness and peace to have all the effects that I may be possessed of at my death, both real and personal, namely. The lot of land upon which I now (live) reside No (158) one hundred and fifty eight in the sixteenth district Originally Houston now- Upson County, containing agree-able to original survey (202 ½ two hundred two and half acres; together with all the Household and kitchen furniture, farming utensil and stock of all kinds, and effects of all kind for and during the term of her natural life. And at her death to be sold and equally distributed between my lawful heirs, Share and Share alike. This Item 4th I constitute and appoint my beloved Son John A.
