BROWN Georgia, Upson County Sept. 30, 1895 In the name of God, Amen. I John W. Brown bein of sound mind do make this as my last will & testament. First: I will that the debt incurred by the building of my house in the town of Yatesville, Upson Co., Ga., be paid off as soon as it is absolutely necessary by any available means of my effects. 2nd It is my will and desire that my plantation home be kept together and rented by my executors to any of my children who need to rent homes the executors to hold and use the rents so that they shall accrue and become as part of my estate and that my stock & farming utensils be kept on place and employed in the use of cultivating the farm. 3rd I bequeath to my wife Nancy Brown my home in the town of Yatesville as her home as long as she desire to live at it and if she chooses to live with any of the children the rent of this home shall be kept as her support while she lives. 4th My library of Books I desire to be kept at home for the use of the children who may read and return as I do not wish them scattered or sold. My house hold furniture I bequeath to the use of my wife while she lives. 5th I will that John W. Brown Jr. and Wm. B. Brown my sons be made executors of this my last will and testament.
