Recorded March 7, 1829

Know all men by these presents that I, Stephen Duke, of the county and state
aforesaid in consideration of the natural love and affection which I have and
bear unto my beloved daughter Elizabeth Ann Duke the daughter of Joseph Duke and
Nancy Duke and also for other diverse good causes and considerations that I the
said Stephen Duke have granted and confirm by these presents to grant and
confirm unto my said granddaughter Elizabeth Ann Duke the east half of Lot No.
Three undivided lying and being in the tenth district of originally Monroe
County now Upson County.
Known and distinguished by boundaries(??) on the north by Lot No. two, on the
east by said district line, on the south by Lot No. four --- To have and enjoy
all and singular the above mentioned half square of lands with all the rights,
members and appurtenances there unto belonging to the said Elizabeth Ann, her
heirs,  executors, assigns and administrators to their own proper use benefit
and behalf of in fee simple against me the said Stephen Duke, my heir Elizabeth,
executors, administrators, and assigns and all and every other person  or
persons shall and will ever warrant and defend the said parcel of half tract of
Land revoking all claims that may arise in after be made by me, my heirs,
executors, administrators and assigns in any forms whatsoever.
In witness whereof I have here unto set my hand and affixed my seal this the 4th
of April in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and twenty eight.
