Will of Martha Greene 03 Apr 1860 Upson County, GA Will of Martha R. Greene (daughter of Raleigh & Elizabeth Floyd Greene) Georgia, Upson County In the name of God, Amen, I, Martha R. Greene, of said state and county, considering the uncertainly of life and the certainty of death, do make and publish this my last will and testament. Item 1: I desire and direct that my body be buried in a decent and Christian-like manner. My soul, I have a sure trust, shall return to rest with God who gave it, and I hope for eternal salvation through the atonement of the blessed Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, and now have an evidence of my acceptance with God through His infinite love. Item 2: I give and bequeath to my beloved sister, Sarah E. GREENE, wife of James W. Greene, and brother John M.S. GREENE, all my property, chattels, goods, rights, and credits wherever and whatever it may be, especially all the interest which I am entitled to under the provisions of my grandfather, John FLOYD, last will and testament, late of Morgan, now deceased, to be equally divided between them.
