He was married to Mildred Ellen Smith. Who also passed away in Social Circle. They had 6 kids. 1-John William Smith Jr.2-Henry Ray Smith,3-Sammy Peter Smith,4Loretta smith[Harbuck] 5-May Smith. The chidren all left and married and had kids of their own. Which are : Tina [Smith] Parker, John William Smith III-[6-6-74-7-4-93]he drowned, with no help from his friends who did not help him. Sheila Harbuck,Marie Harbuck,Bobbie Jean Harbuck,Marsha Harbuck. Sammy Smith Jr., Kim Smith, Jeremy Smith. Also half cousions:Robert Smith, Lee Smith,David Smith,Kenny Smith.John Smtih Sr. is barried in Americus, Georgia along side his wife,in Sumter county. Where alot of her family his barried. Her mother, grandmother and great grandmother are burried there, but i haven't had much luck in finding their graves and i am still looking. They are also my family. Mildred who is my grandmother was a Forsyth before she married. Her mothers name was Lily Mae[Fullbright] Forsyth and her father was John Forsyth.William Wesley Fullbright, my grandmothers grandfather was born in North Carolina in 1864 and he married Sally Whatley. He lived in several places before coming to Georgia, which was in Copperhill,Tennessee and North Carolina. He moved to South Ga., around 1915. He was a farmer all his life. The story is told he ran away from home when he was a boy and lived with the Cherokee Indians for some time. He was able to speak the Cherokee Language.The family name is spealled both Fullbright and Fulbright.William Wesley FullBright died in Americus,Ga.January 6,1947,he is burried in Oak Grove Cemetary.His wife Sally Whatley FullBright died August 30, 1951 right beside her husband,William Wesley FullBright. I have had no look in finding them and i sure wish too. Some of the descendants last names are cox,Eisenhower,Hicks,Taylor,Coalter,Link,Woodring,Forsyth,Collum,Cindrick,just to name a few.
