Aycock and his wife Adeline E. Hawks. George W. is the grandson of Reddick Aycock, Sr., buried at Aycock Cemetery #1, and son of Reddick Aycock, Jr., buried at Mitchell Cemetery #2. The cemetery is located off of the Old Monroe-Madison Highway, south of the highway's intersection with Pleasant Valley Road. It is surrounded by a new chain-link fence. The cemetery is also home to a number of Hawk and Hale family members.
