It is home to many Mitchell family burials, including Ann T. Mitchell and her husband Reddick Aycock, Jr. and son Mitchell S. Aycock. Reddick is the son of Reddick, Sr. and Frances Aycock, buried at Aycock Cemetery #1, and father of George W. Aycock, buried at Aycock Cemetery #2. The cemetery is surrounded on three sides by barbed wire fencing and pasture, and includes a number of beautiful cedar trees and bushes.
