Pistol Toter's Bond

THE STATE OF GEROGIA, Walton COUNTY.
	
We, J.L. Dalton, Principal and J.O. Mayfield, as surety, acknowledge ourselves 
jointly and severally bound unto His Excellency, Jimmy Carter, Governor of the 
State of Georgia, and his successors in office, in the sum of $300 for the true 
payment of which we bind ourselves, our heirs, and executors and administrators 
firmly by these presents.
 
THE CONDITIONS OF THE ABOVE BOND AS FOLLOWS

	
Whereas, the said J.L. Dalton having in terms of the statute (Sec. 26-2904 Georgia 
Code, 1968), made application for license to carry a pistol or revolver, and on 
approval of this bond said license will be issued to carry one pistol or revolver 
described in application above. Now, should the said applicant use the said pistol 
or revolver for nothing except proper and legitimate purposes, then this bond is 
to be void, otherwise to remain in full force and virtue.

This certifies that J.L. Dalton having in terms of the statute (Sec. 26-2904, 
Georgia Code, 1968), made application for a license to carry a pistol or revolver 
and it appearing that said applicant is a resident of said County and is a proper 
person to carry a pistol or revolver, it is ordered that a license be granted, and 
same is hereby granted entitling said applicant to carry one 32 Calibre S&W pistol 
or revolver No.234134 for a term of three years from this date.
