Written: 1867

Walton County Georgia Book T - We William S. Barrett in the right of his wife 
formerly Elizabeth Ragan, Margaret P. Baker, Frances A. Ragan, Mark S. Ragan, 
Virgil B. Ragan, John W.D. Ragan, heirs of Josa Ragan late of said county, 
deceased do hereby relinquish all our rights and title to and interest in Lot 
of Land 164 and fifty acres more or less of Lot 143 being the west side of said 
lot and twenty acres more or less of Lot 197 being the north east corner of 
said lot as shown by the original deeds to said land. All land being in the 4th 
district of Walton County.  We do hereby relinquish our right title and 
interest in and to said land to John W. Ponder of said County for and in 
consideration fo the sum  of eleven hundred and fifty dollars.  Witness G.H. 
Allen and William C. Shellnut JP - Wm. S. Barrett (seal), Margaret P. Baker 
(seal), Fannie A. Ragan (seal), Mark S. Ragan (seal) J.W.D. Ragan (seal) Duly 
Stamped - Filed in my office and recorded this 19th day of November 1869 - John 
P. Edwards Clerk

Descendents of Josa and Matilda Ragan are:
Margaret P. Ragan Baker, John W.D. Ragan, Frances A. Ragan, Mark Silas Ragan, 
Virgil Burkett Ragan, Cornelius H. Ragan and Mary Elizabeth Ragan Barrett.

Josa is the son of Rev. Mark Ragan
