Symmes of the one part & Nancy Anderson of the other part, both of the County & State aforesaid. Witnesseth, that the Said G.T. Symmes for & in consideration of the sum of one hundred & twenty dollars to him in hand paid at & before the sealing & delivery of these presents, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged hath granted, bargained Sold & conveyed & does by these presents grant bargain, Sell & Convey unto the Said Nancy Anderson her heirs & assigns all that tract or parcel of land situate lying & being in the third district of Said County & known by lot number thirty five of said district containing one hundred & twenty five acres more or less it being the East half of said lot. To have & to hold said tract or parcel of land unto her the said Nancy Anderson her heirs & assigns together with all & Singular the rights members & appurtenances thereof to the same in any manner belonging to her & their own proper use benefit & behoof forever in fee Simple. And the said G.T. Symmes doth by these presents warrant & forever defend the title of said premises against the claim of himself his heirs &c. But not against the claim of any other person claiming the same or any part thereof. In Witness whereof the Said Symmes hath hereunto affixed his hand & Seal the day & date before written. G.T.
