Colquitt of the [illegible] Walton County. Witnesseth, That the Said James Callahan for & in consideration of the sum of one thousand Dollars to him in hand Paid hath granted, bargained, Sold Conveyed & Confirmed, unto Walter T. Colquitt and do by these Presents grant bargain Sell convey & confirm unto him & his heirs all that Tract or parcel or lot of land, situate lying and being in the County of Walton & State of Georgia distinguished & known as lot seventy four in the third district of said County drawn by said James Callihan & lying on Jack Creek, Containing Two Hundred & fifty acres more or less. To have & to hold the said bargained premises with all the appurtenances thereunto belonging to the said Walter T. Colquitt his heirs & assigns forever, The title which I warrant & forever defend from me & my heirs & from the claim or claims of Any other Person or Persons whatsoever unto the said Walter T. Colquitt, his heirs & assigns in fee Simple. In Testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal the day and year above written. Signed, Sealed, & delivered in presence of us, John I.
