Buchanan also of Said County & State of the other part: Witnesseth that the Said Jacob Calahan for and in consideration of the sum of one Thousand Seventy Six Dollars & twenty five cents to him in hand paid at and before the Sealing and delivery of these presents, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged hath granted, bargained, Sold and Conveyed, and doth by these presents grant bargain Sell and Convey unto the said John D. Buchanan his heirs and assigns, all that tract or parcel of land, Situate lying and being in the County of Walton, known & distinguished by Lot No. (4) four it being one hundred & fifty three and three fourth acres which is to come off the North West part of Said Lot, and in the first district of Said County, adjoining James OKelley on the North, Saml Studdard on the South West and Said Calahan on the North and East Containing one hundred and fifty three and three fourth acres more or less as aforesaid. To have and to hold Said tract or parcel of land unto him the Said John D. Buchanan his heirs and assigns, together with all any Singular the rights, members and appurtenances thereof, to the Same in any manner belonging to him and their own proper use benefit and behoof forever in fee Simple. And the Said Jacob Calahan for himself, his heirs, executors and administrators the said bargained premises unto the Said John D. Buchanan his heirs and assigns will warrant and forever defend the right and title thereof against themselves and against themselves and against the claim of all other persons whatever,.
