Georgia Walton County

This Indenture made this 28th July in the year of our Lord One thousand 
eight hundred and forty nine between A. J. & J.S. Eason of the County 
and State aforesaid of the one part and Jacob Calaham of the same place 
of the other part. Witnesseth that the said AJ & JS Eason for and in 
consideration of the sum of twenty dollars to them in hand at and 
before the sealing and delivery of these presents the receipt whereof 
is hereby acknowledged hath granted bargained & sold & do by these 
presents grant bargain & sell & convey unto Jacob Calaham all that 
tract or parcel of land situate lying and being in the County of Walton 
and in the Second district of said County part of lot No. 5, five, in 
said district containing six acres & 1/2 , more or less, being in the 
fork of a branch near the north west corner of said lot. To have and to 
hold said tract or parcel of land unto him the said Jacob Calaham his 
heirs and assigns together with all and Singular the rights members and 
appurtenances thereof to the same in any manner belonging to his and 
their own proper use benefit and behoof forever in fee simple.

And the said A.J. & J.S. Eason for themselves their heirs and assigns, 
Executors Administrators the said bargained premices unto the said 
Jacob Calaham his heirs and assigns will warrant and forever defend the 
rights and title thereof against the claim of themselves and against 
the claim of all other persons whatever.

In witness whereof the said A.J. & S.J. Eason hath hereunto set their 
hands and seals the day & year above written.
