Ammons Sheriff of said County of the first part and J.M. Hurst Administrator of H.T. Colquitt deceased also of said County of the second part: Witnesseth that whereas W.S. Ivey Deputy Sheriff did on the 6th day of March 1882 levy upon and afterwards expose to sale a certain lot or tract of land, hereinafter more fully described before the Court house door in the town of Monroe and said County, between the legal hours of sale, and after advertising the same according to law, for the space of four weeks thereafter, in the Walton News a newspaper published in Monroe said County did sell the said lot or tract of land on the first Tuesday of April 1882 said land being levied on and sold as the property of James P. Caudle under and by virtue of an execution issued from the Superior Court of said County of Walton in favor of A.M. & J.B. Roberson agents of the Georgia Chemical Works against said James P. Caudle and the said J.M. Hurst of H.T. Colquit deceased having been the highest bidder for said tract of land the sum was knocked off to him as the purchaser at the sum of Nineteen hundred and forty five dollars. Now the said J.M. Ammons Sheriff as aforesaid, in consideration of the premises and the said sum of Nineteen hundred and forty five dollars to him in hand paid, at and before the signing and delivery of these presents, has granted, bargained, sold and conveyed and does by these presents convey unto the said J.M. Hurst Administrator of H.T. Colquit deceased his heirs, assigns, the aforesaid lot or tract of land containing one hundred and seventy five acres, more or less, lying and being in the first land district of said County of Walton and bounded by Mrs. Fambrough on the South, and on the West by Phillip White on the North by J.T. Adcock W.J. Clegg, on the East by John Herndon and lands of H.T. Colquit. To have and to hold the said lot or tract of land unto the said J.M. Hurst administrator of H.T. Colquit his heirs and assigns, in as full and complete a manner as the said James T.[P.] Caudle might have done. In witness whereof, the said J.M.
