1849-  Walton County Georgia Indenture between Elisha Watson and Joseph T. 
Woodruff, Stephen S. Smith, Josiah H. Ragan, Robert A. England, George F. 
Smith, and Isham H. Ragan step-son's and son-in-laws of the said Elisha Watson 
in consideration of the relinguishment of the said Elisha Watson Estate that 
he owned at the time of the inter-marriage between the said Elisha Watson and 
Kizia Ragan hath given granted and conveyed and does by these present give 
grant and convey unto the said all the tract or parcel of land lyning and 
being the in 4th district of said county and state aforesaid agreeable to the 
original survey known by the number ___  containing one hundred acres of lot 
number _____ and five acres more or less of lot number ___ lying in the 
northwest corner of said lot adjoining Thomas Cannon and others.  To have and 
to hold said tract or parcel of land unto them the said his heirs and assigns 
together with all and singular the rights in fee simple.  And the said Elisha 
Watson for himself, his heirs will warrant and forever defend the title of 
said tract of land unto said Joseph Woodruff, Stephen Smith, Josiah Ragan, 
Robert England, George Smith, and Isham Ragan.  In testimony whereof the said 
Elisha Watson doth hereunto set his hand and seal the day and date above title 
not to be in effect until the decease of Kizia Watson, Wife of the said Elisha 
Watson and from thence forth take to be in full effect.  Witness:  David 
Shellnutt and Jacob Shellnut JP  Elisha Watson (seal) Recorded September 19,
