"All that tract or parcel of land lying and being in city of Monroe said county and
state. On High Shoals 
Road, containing one half an acre more or less, and described as fallows: beginning
at South West corner 
of Monroe High School Building Lot and running toward Broad St. for (105) one
hundred & five feet. Hence 
running back some width for (210) two-hundred & ten feet. Alongside the said school
building lot given to 
said city by J.H. Felker and bordered as follows: On North by said Felker, on East
by Monroe High School, 
South by High Shoals Road, now Church Street, on West by G.W. Peters lot. Said tract
being part of 5 1/2 
acres sold by G.W. Felker to J.H. Felker on June 30, 1887, and recorded in Deed Book
Z pg 530-531, June 
30th, 1887 by J.P. Edwards C.S.C."

*Robertson is the C.S.C. on this deed but I can't read the entire name
