Buchanan, $450, 200 acres, Hard Labour Creek, Lot 35, 1st dist LDS 262554 Walton Co GA Deeds Book L p. 43 ====================================================== This indenture made this thirteenth day of August one thousand eight hundred and thirty one Between William Hewell of the County of Oglethorpe and State of Georgia of the one part and John D. Buchanan of the County of Walton and State aforesaid of the other part. Witnesseth that the said William Hewell for and in consideration of the sum of four hundred and fifty dollars in hand, paid by the sd. John D. Buchanan the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, hath granted bargained and sold unto the said John D. Buchanan, all that tract or parcel of land containing two hundred acres lying and being on the waters of Hard Labour Creek in the first district of Walton County and State aforesaid drawn by and granted to Isam Strickland of Maduvoy County and being the north part of Lot No. thirty five in Said district bounded on the East by lot No.thirty six on the North by lot No. twenty two on the west by lot no thirty four and on the South by part of lot no thirty five. To have and to hold the said tract of land, together with all and singular the rights, members and appurtenances thereunto belonging or in anywise appertaining to him the said John D. Buchanan and to his heirs and assigns forever in fee Simple and the said William Hewell doth hereby bind himself and his heirs to warrant and defend the said Tract of land and premises from the claim or claims of all and every person or persons whatsoever unto him the Said John D. Buchanan and his heirs and assigns forever. In witness whereof the said William Hewell hath hereunto set his hand and seal the day and year above written, signed sealed and delivered in presence of William Hancing [and] Samuel Williams J.P.
