Buckhannan and Madora Buckhannon, wife of said William F. Buckhannon, of the State and County aforesaid and Legatees of the Estate of Robert Howard, late of Newton County and state aforesaid, deceased, the parties of the first part and DeKalb Reynolds of State and County above written, of the second part. Withnesseth, that the said parties of the first part, for an in consideration of the sum of Fifteen Hundred Dollars, in hand paid to them by the parties of the second part, at and before the ensealing and delivery of these presents, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, and the said party of the second part forever released and discharged therefrom, have revised, released, sold, conveyed, and quit-claimed, and by these Presents do revise, release, sell, convey and quit-claim, unto the said part of the second part, his heirs and assigns forever, all the right, title, interest, claim and demand which the said parties of the first part have in and to the Estate of Robert Howard, late of Newton County and State aforesaid, deceased. To have and to hold, the same, together with all and singular the rights, title, members, interests, claims, demands, appurtenances and privileges thereto belonging, or in anywise thereby appertaining; and all the Estate, right, title, interest and demand whatever of the parties of the first part either in Law of Equity, to the only proper use, benefit and behoof of the said party of the second part, his heirs and assigns forever. And the said parties of the first part hereby expressly release, waive and relinquish unto the said party of the second part, his heirs, executors and administrators or assigns, all right, title, claim, interest and demand whatever of the said parties of the first part, in and to the said Estate, and each and every part thereof, which is given by or results from all Laws of said State pertaining to Dower, or otherwise. And the said parties of the first part, for themselves, and their heirs, executors and administrators, do covenant and agree to and with the said party of the second part, his heirs, executors, administrators and assigns, that they (Parties of the first part) have not made, done, committed, executed, or suffered any act or acts, thing or things, either now, or hereafter, that shall or may impeach, change or incumber in any way or manner, the right, title, interest, claim or demand in and to said Estate, against the said party of the second part, his heirs or assigns. In witness whereof, the said parties of the first part have hereunto set their hands and seals, the day and year above written. Florence, do hereby certify that the contents and meaning of the above Instrument of Writing was made fully known and explained to each of the parties; and that each were fully informed of their rights under the Laws of this State, and acknowledge that they freely and voluntarily executed the same; and that they relinquished their rights for the sum above named, as well as the dower to the lands, tenements, and appurtenances therein mentioned, and that without compulsions of his and her own accord, did execute and seal and sign the same in our presence of their own free will and accord for the purposes therein state.
