In 1830 the will of Micajah Sansom was proved in Newton Co., Ga. naming Artemissa Malone as his granddaughter. Deeds of Alexander Wallace (md. Artemissa Malone 12 May 1830 Newton Co., Ga.) convey 1/3 of this land to Solomon Graves and deeds of her brother convey a like amount of this land to a Bledsoe, I believe. Micajah Sansom in this deed is son of Micajah, Sr. I have an 1817 deed of Micajah Sansom Jr. in Jasper Co.,Ga. witnessed by his apparent brother-in-law, Daniel Malone who by the wording of these 1830-36 deeds died between 1817 and land lottery of 1820. All three heirs identified by these deeds, and land court records show Jeptha Wharton and Alexander Wallace owned land in Alabama together also.
