Witnesseth that the said David Studdard for an in consideration of the sum of five Hundred Dollars to him in hand paid at and before the Sealing and delivering of these presents the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged hath granted, bargained and Sold and Conveyed unto the Said Jacob Callahan his heirs and assigns all that [tract] or parcel of land situate lying and being in the second District of the County aforesaid known in the plan of Said District as lot No 72, except one Hundred acres being in the east corner of said lot, conveyed Land containing one Hundred fifty acres more or less joining Allen Ivy and Thos Clegg and Callaham other lands to have and to hold Said tract or parcel of land unto him the said Jacob Callaham his heirs and assigns together with all and Singular the rights members and appurtenances thereof the same in any manner belonging to his and their own proper use benefit and behoof forever in fee Simple. And the Said David Studdard for himself, his heirs, Executors, Administrators and assigns the Said bargained premices unto the Said Jacob Callaham his heirs and assigns will warrant and forever defend the right and title against himself and against the claim of all other persons whatever.
